Please Support Us

Every penny of the donations we receive goes directly to individuals living with disability or long-term illness who are experiencing financial hardship.

Our beneficiaries are people of all ages who are living with disability, long-term illness, and the multiple conditions of ageing. They are in dire financial need and find it extremely challenging to obtain essential equipment or adaptations to enable them to live independently at home.

Faced with multiple barriers to independent living, and having tried, but failed, to secure what they need from statutory sources, our beneficiaries so often find themselves falling through gaps in service provision. We know that we are often the last port of call for them to secure support.

Independence at Home does not receive any government or statutory funding. All our running costs are covered by a wonderful endowment, which means that every penny of the donations we receive goes directly to individuals living with disability or long-term illness who are experiencing financial hardship.

With the support of our much-valued and incredibly generous donors and benefactors – individuals, companies, charitable trusts and foundations – we are able to award our timely and often transformational grants.

Please consider making a donation to enable our vital work to continue. We know that a little help can go a very long way!

Thank you very much.
